With more than 20 years of experience leading college enrollment marketing efforts, I’ve accumulated a large portfolio of multimedia content — conceptualizing, writing and designing publications, print and electronic advertisements, virtual tours, and campaign landing pages. I’m particularly proud of the breadth of my expertise and my ability to tell stories with the creativity needed to capture and retain the attention of our audience.

Raft U Campaign
Marketers, especially college marketers, miss the mark by too quickly jumping to persuasion and information sharing. Promotion without inspiration and intrigue is like a house without street appeal. The integrated Raft U marketing campaign included email, web, digital, print, video and social. I conceptualized, wrote, designed and led photo direction for this adventurous project.
Note: This is a retired campaign so not all links in landing page work.
True Story: a Chicago-based marketing consultant received the postcards in the mail when his son was searching for colleges and showcased the project as an example of how to stand out amid the endless stream promotional material. Read the blog entry.
Another True Story: a college Trustee reported to the Board that — when it came to the avalanche of print pieces that arrived in the mail for their son — the only pieces that stood out were the series of raft postcards. “What are they going to put on the raft next?”
